Mohammad Al-Azraq is the National Project Manager at the Immigrant Employment Council of British Columbia, where he leads a national research project focused on the labor challenges and barriers facing newcomers in Canada. With a Master of Arts in Sustainability Studies from Trent University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan, Mohammad has over ten years of experience in environmental initiatives and sustainable development. Previously, he served as a Network Development Manager at the Arab Foundations Forum, where he spearheaded sustainability projects across the MENA region, and as a Senior Officer for Social Investing and Climate Initiatives at the American University in Cairo, where he led innovative gender-focused programs. His expertise in climate modeling, carbon accounting, and monitoring and evaluation is integral to developing strategies that enhance community resilience and sustainability. Committed to promoting gender equality and integrating inclusive approaches, Mohammad has a proven track record of driving impactful projects in both humanitarian and environmental contexts.
