Gail is a senior business leader with extensive experience in business strategy, marketing and communications, international marketing and change management. Gail has held senior leadership roles in the public and private sectors and has worked in the technology, energy, engineering, and food industries. She has experience in multicultural and complex work environments dealing with multiple stakeholders, including industry, government leaders and communities. Gail is a relationship builder, and she brings business acumen and a track record of establishing innovative partnerships and new business models. She has a proven ability to build and lead teams, influence government policy, rebrand companies and develop concepts from an idea stage through to execution with measurable results.
She is an experienced Director and Board Member on not-for-profit organizations and is currently also serving on the Board of InspireHealth. She has served on the Boards of The Minerva Foundation for BC Women, the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BC Chapter) among others.
Gail has chaired Governance and Nominating, and Communications Committees on various Boards. Gail holds an MBA and BSc. Agriculture (Food Science) from the University of British Columbia. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and has completed the ICD Not-for-Profit Governance Program.
