Adam was appointed to the position of IBEW International Representative in January 2019, servicing IBEW Locals throughout the province of British Columbia and Yukon. Currently based in the Fraser Valley, Adam oversees all construction, maintenance, telecommunication, utility, railroad and High Voltage line construction in the geographical areas above.
Prior to this appointment, Adam served as the Business Manager and Financial Secretary at IBEW Local 213 (Lower Mainland & the Okanagan areas) from 2014 – 2018. Before that, Adam worked as an Assistant Business manager and Dispatcher with Local 213 from June 2008. Adam initially joined IBEW as an apprentice wireman in 2001 and earned his Red Seal for the Province of British Columbia in 2006. As an electrician, he worked on commercial and industrial jobs throughout the Lower Mainland before taking on a leadership role.
Throughout his career, Adam has sat on a number of industry boards and committees, including IBEW 213 Electrical Joint Training Committee, Industry Training Authority’s Manufacturing Sector Advisory Group, BC Federation of Labour, and is the past President of the Bargaining Council of BC Building Trades Unions.
