Strengthening Employer Feedback Channels

IEC-BC’s latest Strengthening Employer Feedback Channels digest captures insights from a September 2026 forum in Kelowna, where 23 employers and workforce partners explored rural recruitment, retention, and immigration pathways in the Okanagan.

Participants highlighted challenges such as the high cost of living, seasonal employment, and misaligned immigration pathways, while identifying practical opportunities to strengthen hiring, retention, and regional collaboration. With strong engagement—including 100% of respondents intending to apply what they learned—the digest offers concrete ideas to better connect employers with the talent they need.
