The Central Okanagan continues to experience workforce pressures driven by population growth, housing affordability challenges, evolving labour market needs, and increasing competition for talent. Employers across industries are looking for practical solutions to attract, retain, and develop the workforce needed to support long-term growth.

To better understand these realities, the IEC-BC is collaborating with Kelowna Community Resources and Central Okanagan LIP to host an Employer Feedback Forum in Kelowna. This session will bring together employers, industry leaders, and system actors to discuss current labour market trends, workforce challenges, and opportunities related to immigration and talent attraction.
