Alvaro Rivera

Alvaro works as a Coordinator with the BC JobConnect program and as an Administrator with IEC-BC’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. He is an internationally trained business development professional with over five years of global experience in the financial industry, international commerce and market research. Primarily responsible for ensuring a global standard of quality for the organizations where he has worked, his diverse work experience includes analyzing data and creating reports for strategic planning along with studying industry trends. Alvaro holds a bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, USA, and  a master’s degree from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, where he majored in International Business. Before arriving in Canada, he oversaw the successful completion of projects that resulted in increased access to financial services for a diverse population in Honduras.
