The Connector Program is a simple and effective referral program that helps new immigrants build professional networks and connect with local job opportunities, while increasing employers’ access to top-tier talent who may not make it in through regular recruiting channels. This national, award-winning program has been replicated in 12 cities across Canada.

Become a Connector

How does the program work?

Match: A newcomer (Connectee) is matched with a Connector based on industry and/or professional backgrounds. A Connector is a working professional including employers, business owners and community leaders.

Connect: The Connector and Connectee meet once to discuss industry backgrounds, skills and areas of expertise, current market demand and hidden job opportunities.

Refer: The Connector refers the Connectee to a minimum of three people in his or her network, and then each of these is asked to refer the Connectee to three more.
In total, a Connectee who completes the Program makes a minimum of 13 new connections.
